LES MIS CH 7

 M.Myriel goes to visit a village and the mayor tells him to have policemen escort him since there were bandits that had been terrrorizing the villages so it was dangerous but he refused. When in the town the villages catherdal had been robbed by the bandits but the bishop asked people to help redecorate it with what they had and then the bandits actually returned the stuff so they learned a lesson and saw what they did was wrong and probably felt guilty and returned it.
