LES MIS BOOK 2: Ch 6

 In Les Mis book two chapter six Jean Valjeans story is told. Jeans did not have his parents because they passed and he had a sister whos husband as well passed away. Jean was desperate for a loaf of bread because he had seven children to feed that he could not and he got caught stealing the loaf of bread and was sent to prison for five years. When he got out he saw six out of seven of his children were gone. The one child that was left was mistreated.
